Integral Business School & Student Placement Process 2025

Objective: To guide and mentor students through a structured placement process that not only facilitates their transition into the corporate world, but also supports their aspirations in higher education, government careers, research opportunities, and entrepreneurship.


The Training & Placement Cell is committed to

  • Enhancing student employability through skill-building and industry exposure
  • Facilitating internships, job placements, and live projects with reputed organizations
  • Providing guidance for competitive exams, government services, and fellowships
  • Supporting students exploring higher education opportunities, including MBA-MSc dual degree Programmes, international study, and doctoral pathways
  • Creating a launchpad for career success aligned with each student’s individual goals and strengths


1. Eligibility Criteria


  • a. Must have a minimum of 75% attendance in all semesters.
  • b. No active academic backlogs at the time of applying for companies.
  • c. Should have completed all mandatory training programmes, seminars, and internships as per course curriculum.
  • d. Maintain a clean disciplinary record within the campus.

2. Registration Process


  • a. Fill out the Placement Registration Form (PRF) online/offline provided by the Placement Cell.
  • b. Submit updated CV in the standard format approved by the Placement Cell.
  • c. Upload a recent passport-size photograph (formal attire, white background).
  • d. Sign the Undertaking & Code of Conduct Form, agreeing to comply with placement norms.

  • Aptitude & Reasoning Classes
  • Communication & Soft Skills Training
  • Industry Guest Lectures & Pre-Placement Talks

2. Profile Verification


  • All submitted documents and CVs will be verified by the Placement Team.
  • Any discrepancy may lead to debarment from the placement process.

1. Job Notification Forms (JNF)


  • Companies will share JNFs mentioning roles, CTC, eligibility criteria, and job location.
  • JNFs will be displayed on official placement notice boards and student WhatsApp/Telegram groups.

2. Expression of Interest (EOI):


  • Interested students must respond to the JNF by submitting the EOI Form within the deadline.

3. Shortlisting


  • Based on the JNF criteria, companies will shortlist candidates.
  • Shortlists will be communicated via official channels.

1. Recruitment Process Includes


  • Online Test (aptitude, technical, psychometric, etc.)
  • Group Discussion (GD)
  • Personal Interview (PI) – Technical + HR
  • Case Study/Presentation Rounds (for consulting or analytical roles)

2. Pre-Placement Talk (PPT)


  • Recruiters will conduct a session to brief students about company profile, role expectations, work culture, and career growth.
  • Attendance is mandatory for students who have applied to the company.

1. Result Declaration


  • Companies share final selected candidate names with the Placement Cell.
  • Offers will be communicated officially via the Placement Portal or Email.

2. Offer Acceptance Form


  • Selected students must fill the Offer Acceptance Form and submit a copy of the offer letter to the Placement Cell within 24–48 hours.

3. Dream Company Clause


  • Each student can declare one dream company where, even if placed elsewhere, they can still apply. This is only valid once and will not apply to PPO/PPI recipients.

4. One Student One Offer Policy:


  • Once a student receives an offer, they may be considered out of the placement process unless the offer is below a minimum CTC or internship-based.

5. Maximum Attempts Clause


  • A student who has appeared for 25 interview attempts (not applications) but has not been placed will be automatically removed from the placement process.

6. Deferred/Waitlist Handling


  • Students placed on hold by a company remain eligible for other opportunities until final confirmation.

1. Joining Formalities:


  • Students must liaise with HR regarding onboarding.
  • Submit Joining Confirmation Slip/Offer letter to Placement Cell.

2. Feedback Form


  • Submit a Post-Placement Feedback Form detailing recruitment experience.

3. Alumni Integration


  • Placed students will be guided to join the IBS Alumni Network.
