Dr. Momina Bushra is an alumna of Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (A Central University), Lucknow, where she earned her Ph.D. in Management in 2018. Her doctoral research examined the “Impact of Corporate Governance Practices on Firm’s Capital Structure Decisions: An Exploratory Study in Indian Context.” She also qualified the UGC‑NET JRF in Management, later upgraded to SRF during her doctoral studies.
She holds an MBA in Finance from Integral University, Lucknow, and graduated with distinction from Allahabad Agricultural Institute‑Deemed University, Allahabad, securing second position in her batch.
Dr. Momina Bushra has over 11 years of teaching experience, serving as Assistant Professor at Alliance University, Bangalore, Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management & Development Studies, Lucknow, and as Senior Lecturer at Dr. M.C. Saxena College of Engineering & Technology, Lucknow. She has taught a wide range of subjects including Corporate Finance, Security Analysis and Portfolio Management, Financial Markets and Institutions, Banking, Law and Practice of Banking & Insurance, Accounting, and Research Methodology.Her research contributions span capital structure, MSME financing, gender diversity in corporate boards, Basel III implementation, and financial distress modeling. She has presented papers at international conferences, including Samarkand State University, Uzbekistan, and contributed extensively to academic literature in finance.
She has actively participated in numerous Faculty Development Programs and workshops, strengthening her expertise in financial econometrics and contemporary research methods. She is proficient in advanced statistical and econometric tools including IBM SPSS, AMOS, Smart‑PLS, EViews, Gretl, and RStudio.
Beyond teaching and research, Dr. Momina has contributed to academic administration as class coordinator, faculty mentor, member of the Dissertation and IIP Committee, dissertation guide, and coordinator of finance clubs, industrial visits, and NAAC‑related processes. She is a life member of the All India Management Association (AIMA) and the Indian Commerce Association (ICA).Through her teaching, research, and professional development, Dr. Momina has established herself as a dedicated scholar in finance, committed to advancing management education and fostering student success.
